Delhi homoeopath gets Hahnemann award

NEW DELHI: Homoeopath Dr A K Gupta has been conferred the Dr Hahnemann Millennium 2000 Award in recognition of his achievements and dedicated service in the field of homoeopathy.

Dr Gupta, the founder director of Ovihams, is well known for his clinical acumen in treating difficult cases. Having many scientific papers to his credit, Dr Gupta renders philanthropic services to the poor by organising free camps regularly, the Homoeopathic Association of Delhi said in a release.

The award has been instituted in the name of the founder of the homoeopathy Dr Samuel Hahnemann, whose 245th birth anniversary was celebrated recently. had done wonders in curing patients afflicted with the disease, in which pigment is lost from areas of the skin, causing white patches.
